VNS of Connecticut Board of Directors
Chairman Robert Rodia named Bridgeport branch occupational
therapist Stephanie Mastino one of two Chairman’s Award
winners at the recent agency annual meeting held in Shelton.
Mastino and co-winner Cynthia Rizzardi, RN, also from the
Bridgeport branch, were cited for their adherence to the agency’s
HEART values, demonstrating Humor, Excellence, Attitude, Respect
and Teamwork in interaction with colleagues, patients and
other medical providers. |
Retired Bridgeport branch home health
aide, Juanita Granger, was honored at VNS of Connecticut’s
98th Annual Meeting October 9 for her 30 years of service
to the agency and its patients. |

Work has begun on planning the 2007
Tree of Light ceremony in 12 communities across the state.

program, in its 17th year, brings together hundreds in its
host communities to remember and honor the lives of departed
loved ones. This year’s event is set for December 6
at 6:30 p.m. |

The Monroe Tree of Light celebration
will take place at the site of the first tree to be planted
at the brand new Edith Wheeler Memorial Library on Monroe
Turnpike. Participating in the recent tree planted were, left
