• GiGi Riley the physical therapist was upbeat, cheerful and supportive staff member. She cheered me up whenever she came and was knowledgeable about her craft with a good sense of humor.
• Kim Wentz, Julie Luciani and Dawn Bolanos, are the most wonderful three people!
• GiGi was a great physical therapist and Carol Osipow was a wonderful nurse. Both are warm, caring people.
• My nursing caregiver, Betty Schaake, has a very special gift as reflected in her great humanity, her compassion, her skills/competency and her thoughtfulness. She provided sensitivity when it would be helpful, she was thoroughly supportive, and her gift of laughter lifted me up every time I saw her and I always looked forward to her visit. She was an instrumentally positive contributor to my rehab experience. I am eternally grateful.
• I felt that the providers really cared about progress and my well being. Jill Persico was a very talented nurse. A nurse of her quality would be very difficult to replace. With her care, willingness to contact experts, modifications to applications, she certainly deserves the Agency’s Florence Nightingale Award. She succeeded when others, including doctors, wound centers and Lyphadema clinics failed and told me I was a chronic case. She is a persistent, systematic, careful, investigative, nurturing, highly skilled professional with a great bedside manner. I’m a retired HR Executive and I can say I have met few, if any, over my lifetime that can measure up to her quality level. I am thankful and grateful for her efforts to make me well for the rest of my life. She is truly a wonderful person.
• I was very pleased with the care given by nurse Diane Appicelli. She was here only 3-4 times, but each visit was helpful to my recovery. Any questions or concerns were addressed. On one occasion, Janice filled in for Diane and she too was most helpful.
  

Torrington Branch

• Cathy Behuniak was a great help in my recovery from hip surgery. When I started out-patient therapy, they commented on how well I was doing. I give all the credit to Cathy. She encouraged me, taught me, and lightly pushed me to do more. Thank you.
• Every time Tracey Gallo came, she had ideas and hints for me to cope with my recovery. Her caring and personality made each visit a special visit. Tracey combated my depression with a positive drive to bring me back to better health. She has an outstanding personality and exhibits an ability of caring that gives off warmth.
• The services VNS provided were professional, effective and well-delivered. The physical therapy, which I needed the most, was especially good!
• The world would be blessed to have more nurses like Dorothy Oryell!
• I can not praise enough the caregivers I had for my recuperation period. I would like very much to give the names of the people I had, but I suppose that isn’t your policy. Wonderful Agency!

• Teresa Wojnoski and Julie Connery Smith were my 2 caregivers. They always made me feel comfortable and could answer any questions or concerns that I had. They both were treated me with respect and tenderness. You should be proud of your staff!

• Jennifer Kaufman, PT, was excellent! Steve D’Amico, my nurse, was also very good!
• I would like to give a special thank you to Maryanne Lebreck & Joe Velky. They were very helpful and caring, especially during the first few weeks. I would not have been able to come directly home from the hospital without their help.
