TRUMBULL—The Hospice at Home™ Team from Visiting Nurse
Services of Connecticut will sponsor its Annual Hospice Memorial
Service for area residents who lost loved ones between April 2007
and March 2008 on May 8 at 7 p.m. at the CES Building at 25 Oakview
Drive in Trumbull.
VNS’s Hospice at Home™ staff provide end-of-life care
for many local residents as part of the agency’s complement
of home care services. Each year, the Hospice staff hosts a memorial
service to provide survivors the opportunity to honor loved ones
they have lost. A reception will follow the service.
During the ceremony, a memorial roll will be read and remembrances
shared. Those who would prefer their loved one’s name not
be read during the ceremony or anyone with questions about the event,
